CLOSING DATE: March 15, 2025

PAY RATE: $15.25 - $20.93 per hour (Depending on experience)

SCHEDULE: Generally, Monday thru Friday - 7:00 am to 10:00 am - plus all swim camps, practices and Saturday swim meets for 12 to 14 weeks.

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

Head Swim Team Coach for approximately 200 swimmers on the summer swim team and supervises 5 assistant coaches.

• Responsible for setting up and running swim camps and pre-season tryouts.
• Schedule summer swim meets.
• Set up meet files.
• Schedules available facilities to accommodate the number of swimmers participating weekly.
• Reports directly to the Assistant Aquatics Manager and Aquatics Manager.
• Attend all applicable meetings with coaches.

• 21 years old or older.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Familiar with Meet Manager and Team Manager programs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass drug and background tests.
• Ability to work well with young swimmers aged 5-18, supervisors, co-workers, parents, and the public.
