CLOSING DATE: September 13, 2025

PAY RATE: $14.46 - $17.36 per hour, depending on experience.

SCHEDULE: Various shifts, Monday thru Saturday

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

• Performs a variety of advanced pool-side and water safety duties.
• Monitor water activities to assure safety.
• Provide close supervision of all lifeguards including training, supervision, and evaluations.
• Direct and perform general upkeep and custodial duties and other duties as assigned by aquatics managers.
• Works under the general supervision of the Legacy Center Supervisor over aquatics and/or Aquatics Managers.

• Graduation from high school.
• 2 years aquatics experience.
• Current Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of the aquatics facility.
• Leadership skills.
• Available to work Monday thru Saturday: 4:30 am - 11 pm. (We are currently looking for those who have the most availability from 4:45 am - 9 am: Monday thru Friday.)
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
